I am back home after attending the Warrior Wellness program in Florida last week. I want to thank you for partnering with them and providing flights for us. This experience has been transformative for me. After the therapy and all the activities during the week, I have more clarity, feel lighter, and definitely was able to heal from heavy stuff I’d been carrying around since deployment in 2004. I was skeptical at first, but it delivered, I got results very quickly and was amazed at how easy and fast it was (being a nurse myself and working in the medical field for 20 years, I didn’t think anything was possible in one day). I have also tried other methods before and nothing worked.
A huge thank you, we all appreciate you and what you are doing for us. I am spreading the word to all the combat veterans I know so that they hopefully also reach out and try this program.
Four years ago I was at the blackest point I had ever been, and I was forced to go through Warrior Wellness. I’m incredibly grateful for that opportunity , because that first visit changed my life. I came in broken and having no hope for the future and I left filled with hope and purpose. That purpose led me to 4 years of therapy here in Huntsville which led me back to y’all. I can’t say enough about Sam, and the fantastic way she guided me through every session. I literally learned how to box up my mom, squash my dad, and play whack a mole with all the military men who assaulted me throughout my time in the Navy. I can’t adequately express how light I feel now, and how focused I am on charging forward with my life. I’ve been able to go out and be among people and I’ve even gone into a grocery store alone. We are safely back home in Utah, with my dogs by my side and my legs elevated, taking time to truly process the profound impact this past week in Florida has had on my life. How it helped in a pivotal time in Julianna’s and I fractured relationship.

I wanted to personally thank HOOAH for providing me with the opportunity to attend the Warrior Wellness Program and for supporting my travel to get there.
The experience was genuinely beneficial and gave me an opportunity to step away from everyday life, reflect on where I am, and focus on areas of myself that I still want to improve. I left the program with a better understanding of myself, some new perspectives, and things I can continue working on moving forward.
As a veteran, I know opportunities and programs like this wouldn’t be possible without organizations and the people willing to invest in us beyond our time in uniform. I’m forever grateful that you afforded me this opportunity and were willing to make that investment in me.
