“In the last 15 years we have lost approximately 6,000 soldiers to combat related injuries; we have lost over 120,000 to suicide.One of the most important missions HOOAH focuses on is work with veterans struggling with post traumatic stress (PTS) through their Victory for 22 Campaign. Through this campaign they have spent over $100,000 providing over 200 veterans proven help for PTS through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and have helped to get more mental health professionals trained in ART throughout the US.

ART is a science based modality working miracles for veterans struggling with PTS by helping the brain process memories causing PTS. Through their program, veterans are able to see a clinician trained in ART and in 1-4 sessions (each lasting 30-90 minutes), significant improvement is made.”
